Electricity transmission revenue regulation

The AER is responsible for the economic regulation of the revenues received by transmission networks service providers (TNSPs) under chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules. Previously the ACCC regulated TNSPs revenues under the National Electricity Market Access Code and Part IIIA of the Trade Practices Act. Current reviews and previous determinations made by the AER (under the National Electricity Rules) and the ACCC (under the National Electricity Market Access Code) for each TNSP in the national electricity market are set out below.
