The AER made its final decision on the PTRM with effect from 28 September 2007 as required under chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules (NER) and the transitional provisions in clause 11.6.17 of the NER. A copy of the final decision and the final PTRM is available below.
Please note that the first proposed guidelines apply to ElectraNet, SP AusNet and VENCorp in the lodging of their revenue proposals for a 2008 regulatory determination.
PTRM issued by the ACCC and endorsed by the AER
The ACCC launched the initial PTRM in October 2001 and subsequently issued a draft PTRM electricity module in December 2003. In August 2005 the AER released its Compendium of electricity transmission regulatory guidelines which included an updated PTRM. You may want to review these documents.
