On 30 June 2008, the AER released a preliminary positions paper on its framework and approach for the application of schemes to Energex and Ergon Energy for the 2010–15 regulatory control period. This paper outlines the AER's preliminary positions on the application over the regulatory control period to Energex and Ergon Energy of:
A service target performance incentive scheme
An efficiency benefit sharing scheme
A demand management incentive scheme.
