Annual compliance decisions and submissions

After considering submissions on the proposal to make an Annual Compliance Order, the AER made a Draft Decision to make an Annual Compliance Order on 1 October 2008. The Draft Decision, the modified proposal for the Annual Compliance Order and a summary of submissions and responses which provide reasons for the modifications to the proposal are attached below.

The consultation period for the proposal to make an Annual Compliance Order closed on 9 September 2008 and the consultation period for the draft Annual Compliance Guideline closed on 15 August 2008. Submissions received on the proposal to make an Annual Compliance Order and the draft Annual Compliance Guideline, are attached below.

On 18 August 2008 the AER released a proposal to make an Annual Compliance Order. The proposal for the Annual Compliance Order is attached below.

On 16 July 2008 the AER released a draft Annual Compliance Guideline including a preliminary information order (in an attachment) and a discussion paper  to explain its proposed annual compliance process. The draft Annual Compliance Guideline can be found below for reference.

The draft Annual Compliance Guideline was intended to provide information to service providers and interested parties in regard to the annual compliance process and how service providers report this compliance to the AER.

A final Annual Compliance Guideline was released in conjunction with the Final Decision (to make an order) and the final Annual Compliance Order.
