AER submission on the AEMC's review of energy market frameworks in light of climate change policies (November 2008)

The Ministerial Council on Energy requested that the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) undertake a review of energy market frameworks to determine whether they should be amended to accommodate the introduction of the carbon pollution reduction scheme and expanded national renewable energy target. On 10 October 2008 the AEMC released a scoping paper on the review. The AER's submission comments on the issues identified in the scoping paper.
