There are a range of challenges ahead for the energy network sector - for example, the increasing penetration of embedded generation, enhanced licensing and reliability requirements, the relentless growth in peak demand for air conditioning and for many networks, the problems of aging assets.
But perhaps the greatest challenge today is to ensure the energy generation and network sectors can adapt as quickly as possible to climate change policies, when fully implemented.
