AER submission to MCE Second Exposure Draft National Energy Customer Framework (February 2010)

The Ministerial Council on Energy Steering Committee of Officials is tasked with creating a single national framework for regulating the sale and supply of energy (both electricity and gas) to retail customers: a national energy customer framework.

The Standing Committee of Officials released a second exposure draft of the framework on 27 November 2009 including a National Energy Retail Law, National Energy Retail Rules and National Energy Retail Regulations, National Electricity and Gas Retail Support Amendment Rules, and National Electricity and Gas Retail Connection Amendment Rules. The AER's submission comments on the second exposure draft.
