The Qld DNSPs, Energex and Ergon Energy, are required to submit to the AER an annual pricing proposal which outlines proposed prices to take effect from 1 July 2010.
In accordance with clause 6.18.2(c) of the National Electricity Rules (NER), the AER is required to publish the Qld DNSPs’ pricing proposals upon their receipt. The NER require the AER to approve the proposals if it is satisfied they comply with rule requirements and any applicable distribution determination, and if all forecasts associated with the proposals are reasonable.
The Qld DNSPs are required to maintain pricing information in relation to approved pricing proposals on their websites.
