Overview:
On 25 May 2012, the AER received an application for national electricity retailer authorisation from WINenergy Retail Pty Ltd (WINenergy Retail).
On 28 March 2013, WINenergy Retail withdrew their application for a national electricity retailer authorisation.
WINenergy Retail is a wholly owned subsidiary of WINenergy Pty Ltd (WINenergy), where WINenergy operates as an agent for organisations who onsell electricity within embedded networks. WINenergy Retail proposes to retail electricity to large customers, including buildings in which WINenergy operates an embedded network.
