- Accepting submissions
On 15 July 2020, APT Pipelines (NT) (APTNT) submitted its gas access arrangement proposal for its Amadeus transmission gas pipeline for the period 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2026 to the AER. Interested parties were invited to make submissions on the Amadeus proposal by 21 August 2020.
On 27 November 2020, we published our draft decision on APTNT's proposal for the 2021-26 period.
On 15 January 2021, APTNT responded to our draft decision by submitting an access arrangement revised proposal.
Interested parties are invited to make a submission on APTNT's revised proposal and our draft decision by the close of business on 17 February 2021.
APTNT owns and operates the Amadeus transmission gas pipeline in the Northern Territory. The National Gas Law (NGL) and National Gas Rules (NGR) provide the regulatory framework governing gas pipelines. As with other covered pipelines, we regulate APTNT's reference tariffs - and through this its revenue - under an approved access arrangement.
An indicative timetable for the gas access arrangement review is set out in the initiation milestone web page.
