On 1 October 2018, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Mirvac Real Estate Pty Ltd for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law for Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet.

Invitation for submissions

We are now seeking submissions from interested stakeholders on Mirvac Real Estate Pty Ltd's application by 5 November 2018. Submissions should be emailed "Attention: Sarah Proudfoot, General Manager, Consumer and Markets Branch" at AERExemptions@aer.gov.au with the following title in the email: Mirvac Estate Pty Ltd - Birkenhead Point Brand Outlet - application for an individual exemption.

We will take into account submissions in deciding whether or not to grant Mirvac Real Estate Pty Ltd's application.
