TasNetworks, an electricity distribution business in Tasmania, has paid penalties totalling $60,000 following the issuing of three infringement notices by the AER in relation to incidents where TasNetworks failed to provide 20 life support customers the required four business days’ written notification of the interruption to their electricity supply between August 2018 and November 2018.

The AER also accepted a court enforceable undertaking offered by TasNetworks. The court enforceable undertaking addresses deficiencies in TasNetworks’ planned interruption processes.
