Want to make a complaint about your energy retailer?

The Australian Energy Regulator does not resolve disputes between energy customers and their retailer or distributor.

Our role is to make sure retailers and distributors follow the energy laws. We receive reports on complaints and disputes from energy businesses and the Ombudsman schemes and uses this information to monitor compliance.

Learn more about the number of steps you can take if you are having a problem with your energy service, retailer or distributor.
