The AER's use of artificial intelligence

Note: This statement is currently under review. 

Before 1 July 2026, the AER was part of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and we shared an AI transparency statement with the ACCC. 

From 1 July 2026, the AER became a separate non-corporate Commonwealth entity. All enquiries about the AER's use of AI should be made directly to the AER.
