The AER has released its preliminary Framework and Approach (F&A) for Victorian transmission service provider AusNet Services for the 2022–27 regulatory control period.
The F&A provides direction to a service provider on how certain aspects of its regulatory proposal should be framed. The preliminary F&A allows for AusNet Services and interested stakeholders to consider and respond to the AER’s intended approach to incentive schemes that aim to encourage cost efficiency and maintenance of service standards, amongst other things.
This consultation opportunity is the first step in the beginning of a two year process that ends with us determining AusNet Services’ allowed revenue for the 2022–27 regulatory control period, including efficient prices for electricity transmission services.
Submissions on the AER’s preliminary F&A for AusNet Services close on Monday 3 February 2020.
Submissions should be emailed to AusNetServices2022@aer.gov.au
