On 5 June 2018, the AER approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from ReNu Energy Retail Pty Ltd (ReNu Retail) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). ReNu Retail is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
