AER - Statement of Reasons - Essential Energy - 2025-26 Pricing Proposal

On 9 May 2025, we approved Essential Energy's annual pricing proposal for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026. This follows an assessment to ensure consistency with the National Electricity Rules and the 2024–29 revenue determination.

Provided below is our: 

• statement of reasons providing a summary of our decision, average impacts for residential and small business customers on the most common tariffs, and commentary on drivers of movements
• a consolidated stakeholder report with proposed/approved network prices for all networks, as well as cost movement analysis.
