The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Network Exemptions Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions.

The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
Before 10 March 2026, exemptions for this site were registered by PS725778N / ABN 74 574 317 050 and Origin Energy Electricity Limited / ABN 33 071 052 287.
