The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

From 3 September 2021 until 31 March 2026 Origin Energy Electricity Limited / ABN 33 071 052 287 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption. This exemption as it applied to Origin Electricity Limited was effective from 3 September 2021 to 31 March 2026.
SAVANT ENERGY POWER NETWORKS PTY LIMITED / ABN 31 604 736 638 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applied to SAVANT ENERGY POWER NETWORKS PTY LIMITED takes effect from 31 March 2026.
