The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER is no longer in effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline) and was subject to a number of conditions.

Prospecta Utilities Pty Ltd / ABN 99 659 467 099 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applied to Prospecta Utilities Pty Ltd took effect from 6 August 2024.
The exemption applied to energy sales to residential customers. It required exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
From 17 October 2025, exemptions for this site were registered by GEMLIFE COMMUNITIES (QLD) OPERATIONS PTY LTD / ABN 84 658 646 443 and PROSPECTA UTILITIES PTY LTD / ABN 99 659 467 099.
