The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Network Exemptions Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions.

The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
Prior to 15 December 2022 Body Corporate Services Pty Ltd / ABN 82 010 120 144 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
From 15 December 2022 until 15 May 2026 Peak Body Corporate Management Pty Ltd / ABN 66 130 755 921 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applied to Peak Body Corporate Management Pty Ltd was effective from 15 December 2022 to 15 May 2026.
ENERGY INTELLIGENCE PTY LTD / ABN 48 132 080 552 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to ENERGY INTELLIGENCE PTY LTD takes effect from 15 May 2026.
