The Registrant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Retail Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to conditions.

The Registrant confirms that this site is a greenfield site. For more information, refer to the Retail Exempt Selling Guideline.
The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
