The Applicant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law is no longer in effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions attached to the R4 class exemption.

Applicable conditions for R4 class exemption
Cancellation of registration
On 6 April 2025 the AER received notice from The Trustee for Nerang Investment Trust of the cancellation of exemption on the grounds that it no longer owns or operates or sells electricity at the site.
