- Accepting submissions
Overview
On 1 July 2020, Australian Gas Networks South Australia (AGN) submitted its gas access arrangement proposal for the period 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2026 to the AER.
By 10 August 2020, interested parties were invited to make submissions on AGN's proposal. Submissions received can be found here.
On 27 July 2020, we held a public forum to allow stakeholders and interested parties to ask questions about AGN's proposal; presentations from the forum are available for viewing.
On 27 November 2020, we published our draft decision on AGN's proposal for the 2021-26 period.
On 13 January 2021, AGN responded to our draft decision by submitting an access arrangement revised proposal.
Interested parties are invited to make a submission on AGN's revised proposal and our draft decision by the close of business on 17 February 2021.
AGN owns and operates the gas distribution network in South Australia. The National Gas Law (NGL) and National Gas Rules (NGR) provide the regulatory framework governing gas networks. As with other covered pipelines, we regulate AGN's reference tariffs - and through this, its revenue - under an approved access arrangement.
An indicative timetable for this access arrangement review is set out in the initiation milestone web page.
