The AER has released an issues paper on Powerlink's electricity transmission revenue proposal for the regulatory period 2017 to 2022. The issues paper sets out our initial views of Powerlink's proposal, including what we think will be some of the key issues in our assessment. Powerlink submitted its revenue proposal to the AER on 28 January 2016.

The AER encourages consumers and other interested parties to get involved in the transmission pricing review—be it through attending public forums or making written submissions.

Public Forum

On Tuesday 15 March 2016, the AER will hold a public forum in its Brisbane office on the electricity transmission revenue proposal submitted by Powerlink. The forum will discuss the AER issues paper on Powerlink's revenue proposal. Interested parties who are yet to register for this public forum are encouraged to do so as soon as possible by email to Powerlink2016ataer [dot] gov [dot] au (Powerlink2016[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au).
