On 22 March 2018, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a gas retailer authorisation from GloBird Energy Pty Ltd (GloBird Energy) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). GloBird Energy is now authorised to retail gas as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Thursday 25 January 2018. No submissions were received.
