On 29 July 2016, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a gas retailer authorisation application from WINconnect Pty Ltd under the National Energy Retail Law. WINconnect is now authorised to retail gas as and when the National Energy Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction
