Staff working paper on 2018 approach to LCOE analysis - Wholesale electricity market performance monitoring

On 15 June 2018, we released a Staff working paper on 2018 approach to LCOE analysis. The AER’s 2018 Focus identified that it will use Levelised Cost of Energy (LCOE) estimates in 2018 as part of its approach to wholesale electricity market monitoring. This paper contained technical discussion around the expected use of LCOE and its limitations. The period for providing comments on this paper has closed.
