AER 2018 transmission network service provider benchmarking report

The AER released the 2018 annual benchmarking reports for DNSPs and TNSPs on 30 November 2018. It also released a data-only update on 11 October 2019.

Please note: due to the identification of an error during the preparation of the 2020 Annual Benchmarking Report, the productivity index number results in annual benchmarking reports preceding the 2020 Report are not accurate. Please see the 2020 Annual Benchmarking Report for corrected results and for more information on the error which relates to the non-reliability output weights. In addition, in the 2024 annual benchmarking report for distribution, we finalised implementation of our approach to addressing differences in capitalisation between network service providers. We initially implemented this in 2023. Given this, the results in the benchmarking reports for distribution before 2023 are not directly comparable with those from 2023.
