On 6 April 2020, Essential Energy submitted to the AER an annual pricing proposal for its New South Wales distribution network for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Essential Energy's pricing proposal will be assessed for compliance with the AER's 2019-24 regulatory determination.

On 28 April 2020, Essential Energy resubmitted their proposal in response to AER's queries.
