Expressions of interest (EOIs) were sought for the early signal pathway from network businesses with regulatory proposals due to be submitted to the AER in January 2023. EOIs were to address the matters set out in section 2.2.4.1 of the Handbook. EOIs closed 28 January 2022.

On 15 March 2022, the AER provided a response to Ausgrid in relation to its EOI.
