On 26 May 2020, Energex submitted to the AER an annual pricing proposal for its Queensland distribution network for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Energex's pricing proposal will be assessed for compliance with the AER's 2020-25 regulatory determination.
On 10 June 2020, Energex submitted a formal initial pricing proposal following the release of its 2020-25 revenue determination on 5 June. This updated proposal included information that was not available before the determination was made, as well as updates in response to AER queries.
On 25 June 2020, the AER approved Energex's initial pricing proposal for the period 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. This was after assessing the pricing proposal as compliant with the National Electricity Rules and the AER's Final Decision on Energex - Determination 2020-25.
