On 20 September 2013 the AER approved the Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline, and is subject to a number of conditions.

Savant Energy Power Networks Pty Ltd / ABN 31 604 736 638 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to Savant Energy Power Networks Pty Ltd takes effect from 16 February 2026.
