The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Network Exemptions Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions.

The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
Before 1 February 2018, this exemption was registered by Decco Apartments Pty Ltd / ABN 79 165 051 310.
From 1 February 2018 until 27 February 2026, WinConnect Pty Ltd / ABN 71 112 175 710 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption. This exemption as it applied to WinConnect Pty Ltd was effective from 1 February 2018 to 27 February 2026.
Neo Grids Pty Ltd / ABN 82 676 127 843 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to Neo Grids Pty Ltd takes effect from 27 February 2026.
