The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

From 29 November 2019 until 1 May 2026 Watts Energy Pty Ltd / ABN 49 109 968 032 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption. This exemption as it applied to Watts Energy Pty Ltd was effective from 29 November 2029 to 1 May 2026.
The Trustee for Energy Bay Kappa Fund / ABN 37 949 909 024 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to The Trustee for Energy Bay Kappa Fund takes effect from 1 May 2026.
