The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Network Exemptions Guideline and is subject to a number of conditions.

The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.

THE EMBEDDED NETWORKS COMPANY PTY LTD / ABN 32 119 677 431 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to THE EMBEDDED NETWORKS COMPANY PTY LTD takes effect from 1 September 2026.
