The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline), and is subject to a number of conditions.

Exemption class applicable conditions
The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
Prior to 31 October 2025, WINConnect Pty Ltd / ABN 71 112 175 710 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
NEO GRIDS PTY LTD / ABN 82 676 127 843 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to NEO GRIDS PTY LTD takes effect from 31 October 2025.
