On 19 December 2017, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from GloBird Energy Pty Ltd (GloBird Energy) for a gas retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).

Invitations for submissions on the application closed on Thursday 25 January 2018. No submissions were received.
