On 30 January 2018, the AER released its draft Retail Pricing Information Guidelines for consultation. It is accompanied by the Notice of Draft Instrument which explains the proposed changes to the Guidelines and how these changes will impact retailers.

Interested parties were invited to make written submissions on the draft Guidelines. Submissions closed on 16 March 2018. Twenty six (public) written submissions and one confidential written submission were received, together with three oral submissions being provided.
