On 27 June 2019, the AER released the draft version 6 of the Retail Pricing Information Guidelines (the Guidelines) for consultation. It is accompanied by the Notice of Draft Instrument which explains the proposed changes to the Guidelines and how these changes will impact retailers.

Interested parties were invited to make written submissions on the draft Guidelines. Submissions closed on 26 July 2019.

On the 11 October 2019 we published frequently asked questions to provide guidance for electricity retailers with regard to the application of the Guidelines, since the Code came into effect on 1 July 2019.
