The Registrant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER has now come into effect. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Exemption Guideline (Network Exemption Guideline) and is subject to a number of conditions.

The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
EPIC 2000 PTY LTD / ABN 82 075 937 709 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to EPIC 2000 PTY LTD takes effect from 19 November 2025.
