On 31 March 2025, Essential Energy submitted a pricing proposal for its New South Wales and southern regional Queensland electricity distribution network for the period 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026.
We will assess Essential Energy's pricing proposal for compliance with the NER and our 2024–29 regulatory determination. Essential Energy provided other documentation to support its proposal that will be used in our compliance assessment.
On 30 April 2025, Essential Energy resubmitted part of its pricing proposal in response to AER queries. This included changes to proposed prices.
