The AER is seeking written submissions on Ergon Energy Network's application to renew its waiver from clause 4.2.3 of the Ring-fencing guideline (electricity distribution).
On 14 March 2025, the AER received an application for a ring-fencing waiver from Ergon Energy Network to use similar branding across their Ergon Energy Network and Ergon Energy Retail brands.
Ergon Energy Network currently holds a waiver for this purpose, however the waiver expires on 30 June 2025. As such, Ergon Energy Network has applied for a new waiver until 2035.
