On 27 March 2025, the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water published a consultation paper seeking feedback from stakeholders to identify key priorities for the Better Energy Customer Experiences reform process, including:
- which existing, emerging and future issues should be prioritised in the process
- the extent to which the process should rely on recommendations made through previous reviews
- potential approaches to addressing the identified issues.
The AER made a submission on 6 June 2025.
