On 29 May 2025, Endeavour Energy submitted an application for a waiver from clause 3.1 and 4.2 of the Ring-fencing Guideline (Electricity distribution) in order to provide training service to Evoenergy.

Endeavour Energy sought a ring-fencing waiver to deliver training to Evoenergy staff in for Certificate III in Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) – Distribution Overhead up to 30 June 2029.
