On 21 November 2025, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from the trustee for Energy Bay Victor Fund for an individual exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation for Ballina Central shopping centre.

We are now seeking submissions for interested stakeholders on the trustee for Energy Bay Victor Fund's individual exemption application for Ballina Central shopping centre by COB Friday, 19 December 2025.

Submissions should be emailed to Sarah Pinchuck – Director, Compliance and Enforcement at AERExemptionsaer [dot] gov [dot] au (AERExemptions[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au) with the following email subject title: The trustee for Energy Bay Victor Fund – individual exemption application.

The AER prefers that all submissions be sent in an electronic format in Microsoft Word or other text readable document form and publicly available, to facilitate an informed, transparent and robust consultation process. Those wishing to submit confidential information are requested to:

• clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim; and 

• provide a non-confidential version of the submission.
