The Registrant's exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law has now come into effect. The exemption is provided for in the AER's Retail Exempt Selling Guideline and is subject to conditions.
The current version of the Retail Exempt Selling Guideline is published on the Retail exemptions page.
The exemption applies to energy sales to residential customers. It requires exemption holders to join their state or territory energy ombudsman scheme.
