We are reviewing the Retailer of Last Resort (RoLR) guidelines and plan.
Today, the AER has published a consultation paper seeking feedback on the RoLR guidelines and plan, including:
- changes to the cost recovery guidance, timing and template
- approach to taking up to 72 hours to designate an additional RoLR
- approach to designated contracts and timeframe
- additional data requirement.
We have also combined the RoLR guidelines, plan and statement of approach into a single document. We have done this to make it easier for retailers and other RoLR participants to understand their obligations, which will result in better experiences for energy customers.
