The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) will undertake compliance checks of the pricing proposals and proposed network charges submitted by Victorian electricity distributors.
These compliance checks will ensure consistency against the National Electricity Rules and each distributor’s recently released five-year regulatory revenue determination for the 2026–31 period. We will publish any required resubmissions from distributors.
Following these compliance checks, we will publish our approval of the 2026–27 pricing proposals and network charges, within 30 business days. We will also publish a Statement of Reasons outlining our decision for each distributor.
