On 2 July 2026, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved electricity retailer authorisation and gas retailer authorisation applications from SUPA Energy Pty Ltd (SUPA) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
SUPA is now authorised to retail electricity and gas as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the applications closed 22 May 2026. No submissions were received.
